Road Transfer + Boat Crossing
Door to Door

Transfer from Paraty to Vila do Abraão:

We pick you up in Paraty and take you to Marina Porto Real, in Conceição de Jacareí, where you board the Flexboat straight to Vila do Abraão. The road transfer and the crossing are sold together, with connected times: the van reaches the pier in time for the boat, and you do not need to worry about driving, parking or tickets.

Shared transfer: the most economical option

You travel in a vehicle shared with other passengers, and the boat crossing is already included. We pick you up at your door in Paraty, except in hard-to-reach or restricted places.

As we pick up passengers at other addresses, boarding starts at the chosen time and may take up to 1 hour.

  • We do not pick up from or drop off at Paraty Mirim

Private transfer: faster and more comfortable

The vehicle is exclusively for you and your group, with no stops to pick up other passengers. We pick you up at your door in Paraty, except in hard-to-reach or restricted places, and drive straight to Marina Porto Real. It is about 2 hours by road, with an immediate connection to the boat to Vila do Abraão.

The departure time is set according to the (shared) crossing you choose. You can choose between a standard or executive car, an executive van or a bus, depending on the size of the group.

The Ilha Grande tourist tax is charged by Angra dos Reis City Hall and is not included in the transfer prices.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about this crossing

Do I need to book my transfer in advance?

Yes, always. On public holidays, weekends and in high season, we recommend booking even further ahead. We have a limited number of seats per departure, and they do sell out. When you book online, you get your confirmation right away, then the voucher by e-mail, and you just show it at the pier.

Is the crossing to Ilha Grande safe? Does the boat run in the rain?

Yes. Flexboats are certified by the Brazilian Navy, carry life jackets for every passenger and are operated by experienced sailors. They have a fibreglass hull and inflatable sides, which give stability and safety. They run normally in the rain. In extreme sea conditions, the departure is cancelled for safety and you will be notified immediately.
